What is Omegle?

Omegle allows anyone to talk to random strangers online at any time without having to reveal their identity. This website allows you to chat with strangers online.

This site is for people who are bored at work and don’t want to do anything.

Omegle offers two options for video and text chat. You can even find strangers who share your interests by simply adding your interest in TikTok or Drawing, Chatting and Painting, etc.

Omegle will introduce you to strangers who have expressed an interest in the same topic as you. This is how you’ll both have an easy time breaking the ice by conversing about similar interests on that site.

You won’t find an option to show your background if you are using Omegle for video chat. Yes, I’m sorry. That’s why you are searching for a solid solution.

Omegle, for obvious reasons, can only be accessed by visiting their website. They do not yet have an official app.

After connecting with strangers on Omegle via mobile browser, there won’t be any options to flip the Omegle camera or use the back camera.

This is the problem here. This is a problem that Omegle should resolve soon. We can still use the Flip camera on Omegle until then.

Step – 1: Download Opera Browser.

We are all used to Chrome as our primary browser on our phones. Opera is a great choice. Opera browser will ask you to select the front or back camera when you connect to someone else to video chat.

Download the Opera browser to your phone and then install it. This will make it easier to do this.

Step 2: Configure Omegle’s back camera.

Now you have Opera browser installed on your smartphone (Android or iOS).

  • Opera Browser opens and you can go to omegle.com.
  • Tap on Video (Add your interests below the box)
  • To continue, confirm the Terms and Conditions.
  • Opera will now display a popup asking you which camera or microphone you would like to use (if your wired headset is connected)
  • It will all be set up automatically by defalut
  • To flip the camera on Omegle tap on cameraicon. Select Back camera.
  • If you’re using a headphone or an earphone, select Wired Speaker. Otherwise, leave it to automatic.
  • Click on “Done”.

For a better understanding, I have attached the screenshots below.

Well, that’s it. You just did it. Now Omegle will use your phone’s back camera as the camera source. And this is how you can use the back camera on Omegle for video chatting.

Opera browser allows you to Flip your camera on Omegle. This feature is not available in other browsers, like the most beloved Chrome browser.

This is why you need to use the Oper Browser.

Ending:

There are many ways to flip the Omegle camera on Android or iOS, but I wasn’t interested in exploring them all. This one (described above), seems perfect for this purpose. It’s simple and easy to follow and configure.
